Abstract：In the long run,because of lacking of understanding about the value of historical and cultural heritages,the government in Leshan mistreats the relationship between urban construction and ancient city protection.During the course of city construction and development,many protected architectures are destroyed,the unique appearances in the city is eliminating and the cultural relation of the city was cut off. Today Leshan is going to become a historical and cultural city and an international tourism city with personality,warmness and charm so the government must follow the guideline of efficient protection,general management,scientific planning and sustainable utilization,and improve the standard of brand of city and life of residents,and then enrich the full connotation of the city.
